torque converter!?! please help!
hey, i have a auto gt,, looking for a 3000 stall torque converter for it... would this be ok for daily driving,, where can i find one, and how much would it cost to instal??? please, any help is greatly appreciated..

I'm in the market for a new TC as well, and from what I've read and been told, a 3,000rpm stall speed converter should be fine for daily driving.

TCI, Performance Industries, and Level 10 all make torque converters for the 5R55S transmission.

TCI's Streetfighter should be fine if you plan on stayin NA.

As for the stall, 3000 is good enough for a DD, I know of a guy who has full bolt-ons including cams who also visit the track atleast once a month and had no issues of any kind with his TCI, yet.....
