ok i just bought a brand new 07 gt last week an i absolutely love it, buti was wondering how long it takes to break in the engine because my friend said that you have to break it in. is that true and if so what do he mean by that.

It should say in your owners manual. I got an 07 Jeep, the engine was already broken in, the manual said that there was no need for a "break - in period". But on a fresh rebuild 500-1000 miles is rule of thumb, right along with oil changes @ 100 miles then 500, just to make sure you got all the shavings out.

yea bc right now my car has 400 miles on it and i have been getting on it alot but ill stop it now until about 1000 miles of so

The only thing you need to worry about is driving at the same rpm's for extended periods.
Change it up, upshift, down shift...........and drive it like you stole it.
