Ran a 14.2 @ 97.8
I have a 07GT auto and wanted to see what it ran stock fully loaded. I was hoping for a 13 sec pass but knew it wasn't going to happen I didn't even bring my helmet! On Friday when I get paid I'm getting a Tuner pulley and CAI for the car and hope to take it back to the track... My 60ft's all night were 2.1 so that's not to bad
It was my First time at the track, the car had 800 miles,it was 95 degrees outside and was running 87 think the track is 15ft above sea level. Iknow these are not the times the car should be running but I was the second fastest GT there that night... only one faster was running nitrous on DR's running 12.80's

Give it a few hundred miles more to finish breaking in. Then throw a tank of 93 in there, and then reset the computer with the 93 in it. With the temps being hot, the extra octaine in the fuel should keep you from pulling as much timing in the heat. Also, get that launch down to a 2.0 or a 1.9 and you'll be breaking 13's stock. Remember, .1 sec off of the 60' time is .2 off of the ET.

When my car had 500 miles on it, 96 degree heat in June (80% or so humidity), with spare and subs (shaker 1000) in the car, and a 2.09 60' I ran a 13.908. I figure those were the worst possible conditions (weather and prep) that could have existed and I was stoked to get into the 13s. Then I added LCAs and front swaybar delete and in good weather (70s) I ran a 13.50.I keep a log of my time slips, weather for the day, and mods so I can see my progression. Oh, and the same day as I ran the 13.90, I saw a Z28 and 2 TAs running in the 14.0 - 14.3 range so that made me feel even better.
The CAI and tune made a drastic difference in the car. The tune for the transmission made the most drastic improvement. I orginally bought my CAI and tuner from Brenspeed with their 93 octanetune but later, I ordered a 93 octane race tune from Ba ma chips (without the spaces) and lost about1.5 mph in the 1/4 but gained a bit over 1/10 in ET. I tested the 2 tunes on the same day in the same weather each with the same amount of time for cool down and I ran my best times with the Ba ma chips tune (despite the lower mph). The 60' times were the same.
Can't wait to get to the track to test out the gears and DRs.
