When I shift under hard acceleration and then once the gear is engaged and get on it again, I hear some sort of clunk like a chain. Its sounds a lot like the drive train or something. Could anyone help me out please?

first off, welcome to the site. I assume you have an 05+ stang because of the section your in, but i wouldnt worry yet. we have really loud cars. the clutch is loud, the tranny is loud, 2pc driveshaft is loud. if you modify the suspension it will probably get louder. its one of those things you just have to get used to. but my guess is the sound you here is the driveshaft. If it's really annoying try something like the spydershaft. lose some weight, free up some hp, and shave some time off your 1/4 mile.

I was worried bout that too. Its because we have a pucked clutch. the noise is our clutch ingaging
