+1, there are many better mods for our cars out there than cams. Hell, Spyder 's running 11's with stock cams. If you want to up the hp than get a S/C, turbo, nitrous etc.You could practically get 20 hp from a good exhaust set up for less than 2K!

How much are the stroker kits?
In the latest 5.0 or MM&FF (i forget which) they did a stroker kit to 298 ci and kept the stock cams. They got around 350whp and 360wtrq I think with full exhaust and CAI and tune. I think they claimed about 46whp and similar torque gains just from the stroker kit.

just have to say if i had the choice to do it all over again i would go s/c rather than turbo... i would like the cams just for the sound
i think the bbr stage 2 cams sound the best..... and i was thinking about getting them but for 2 grand..... thats a good start for a forged short block

Guess my car is a freak. I got a 40 H/P gain from stage 3 Comps and a custom dynotune. 345/333 SAE rwhp. Now I threw a Ny-Trex 100 shot on top of that and WEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![8D]

Actually, Brenspeed says about 40HP gain from the Stage 3 Cams as well.
Cost of their entire set-up (TB, Delete plates, C&L Racer, Kooks headers) for approx 345 rwhp is about $4000 plus labour to install the cams. Not cheap for sure, but at 350hp, you can be as mean as you want to the stock internals and probably never have a problem. Good option for those who drive a lot, IMO.
