Thanks everybody, That's what I wanted to hear, I most likely won't be doing this until next spring so I have some time to think about what I want.
Thanks again

Half the people on here have a supercharger and the other half want one, so yes it's the way to go.

Half will vote for supercharger and the other half will vote for turbo...I think with moderate power levels they both have their advantages and disadvantages...once you want to eclipse huge numbers...then there seems to be a rift in which makes the MOST power

Are turbos really cheaper? Are there downsides compared to S/Cs?

I could say "boost is boost" because the differences in a daily driven supercharged or turbo Mustang are minimal. They do react a bit different, but no matter what, when you hit the gas, you will have a hard time wiping the grin off your face. All versions ofboth pull hard and make you want to do it some more.

Twin Screws and turbo's are going to be the stealthiest at idle. Centrifugal superchargers make a nice whine until you get off idle, then they get quiet. Anybody that knows that sound will look in awe as you putt by. My ProCharger also has a slight jet sound just like when you are flying at altitude. You hear a very faint whine. Cool!!!

In my book, it doesnt matter. Just dont get caught up in the "Whats the best" mentallity. They are ALL good.

And no, turbos are not cheaper. Unless you MAKE your own system from scratch. When its all said and done, you will still lay out over $4000-6000 to get a ready made kit, driveable and tuned. turbo or S/C.

Hey,

We have Whipple, Procharger, Saleen & Roush

With the Roush you can expect up to 115Hp, or you can go Saleen which you have various options which include either the 100HP Kit, the 100HP Kit plus 75 additional HP kit or the extreme 550 HP kit

If you want you PM us or contact us directly at 718-645-4599 for more information regarding the S/C kits for you 08 Mustangs.
From those choices the best is Saleen.Roush is a roots style supercharger and I have no idea of it's efficiency. The whipple and procharger are so so as long as you are not looking for big #'s. I would suggest the Saleen.

Fixed
haha think not. Saleen is a cute looking supercharger but thats about it. It is not very efficient and you can't pass 14psi. So if you are looking for big #'s stay away from this one. But if you wont build up the engine or anything like that then it is a real cute supercharger

4495 for a complete turbo system from hp performance. I am a dealer for them and I could get you a discount on it.
