Only you can answer that. The MM one will fit the stock shift ****, and one or two other ones. the 3/16 will fit most of the aftermarket shift kbos like the hurts ***** and t-handles and such.

I kept mine stock, since it hides that way, and only I know just how fast I can shift it. LOL

I love mine, zero complaints.
If I had to guess I was within the 1st 10 people with one installed with no issues since they came out. Was delivered to work and I installed it at work that evening.
After a month I went and adjusted it to the shortest throw and its staying there. I have not changed to any of the updated parts, and havent had anything come loose.
I have run it at the strip may of times, and on a full day of road racing. She is my DD.

exx1976 your gonna make me check them bolts now tho, lol. And I did an oil change today I could have checked them then, grrr.

Stoenr - the easiest way to tell if the bolts are beginning to loosen is to leave the car in third while you are braking to a complete stop. Rest your hand on the shifter. If it pushes back against your hand under medium to heavy braking, NOTICEABLY, then the bolts are starting to loosen up. If it's happening, you'll know immediately by the feel of this. Mine was a gradual process, and still one day I was like WTF!?!? I stopped at a Monroe or Midas or something stupid and flipped the guy a 20 to put it up in the air and loctite them for me. They were DEAD, and I think he was happy just to have something to do, but it was a bargain nonetheless.

Good luck!!

Default new MGW shifter

Put mine in last nite. Took my son and me about 3 hours. Not realy in a rush.
Straight foward install. Used tacobill's writeup. Better than MGW's.
7 turns out and a little tight going into first gear and second. But third is never a problem. Might turn back to 5 untill it breaks in. Realy feels like a different car.

MGW hands down the smoothest easiest shifter! Worth the money!!! only thing better is the extra servos in the 6 spd trans in the GT500! Combine the 2 and look out!
