I want something to launch like a bat outta hell but also be able to drive it daily without having @ 3500 crusing around town nor having it top out at 100 lol...

1st, 2nd and most of 3rd completly wasted with street tires. At around 4800 in third the car/tires will finally stick.

Going light to light is fun but you can't best the feeling of pinning the speedo at 150 and having 1000 rpm left. I'll take top end over light to light any day. You wont even come close to that with the gears you are considering. Hey, do what ever floats your boat though. Your driving a Ford thats all that matters!

no traction at all in the lower gears up til 3rd and thats about it lol..pulls like a frieght train though...
I personally wouldn't go any lower than 4.10s. I use to run 4.56 in my old Plymouth, but could't stand the wheel spin even with better tires and suspension upgrades. So I changed them out to 3.91, still had really good acceleration with a lot less wheelspin. When i do my gear change on my 07 GT manual, ill probably go with 3.90s; right now im running the stock 3.55 gears. Plus if yougo with 4.56and you doany interstate driving your rpms are going to be higher than you'd probably like. JMO
I remember racing an old SS that smoked me off the line and held me off pretty well..though surprisingly enough on the freeway, though he had a good jump by like 2 cars from about 60 to 100 or so,by 110 I flew right past him and kept him off by like 4 cars up top by 140 or so..
pretty sure his gears were either 4:10s or 56s even.
it had monster low end though..
