Default borla confusion....

ok perhaps i was quite the fool but i thought Borla had an aggressive system that was a mid muffler like the pypes setup....and could swear i remember members posting about how much of a bear it was to line the tips up...just like the pypes setup....

does borla have such a thing, a true midmuffler system? or was i mislead...and their catback system is really just the axel back exhaust with new exhaust pipe running all the way to the midpipe...from what i have heard in the past the borla aggressive is pretty throaty...and i liked it just thought it was a midpipe system...it makes no logical sense to buy the catback system then since the stock exhaust is already stainless right? thats a savings of like 300 bones for another mod! please correct me if i am wrong....

one more thing...i'm thinking of joining peeps in the riskay decision of long tube headers here in Long Island NY....does any catted h pipe work with them? any recommendations? Thanks!

Default RE: borla confusion....

hehehehe aweseome! thanks! i will most likely go with these but right now i am going to do a little research on the pypes systems. was really hoping to get an old school "catback " system just for the nostalgia and of course sound. i've grown up on mustangs...very partial and kinda think that all mustangs should be true catbacks...non of this axel back or calling it a catback when they are really just giving you the pipe from the midpipe back to the axelback and the mufflers themselves. non-the-less....i love this mustang so much i can over-look the axelback thing....hehehehe

thanks howarmat....i appreciate your help and taking the time to reply!
