This is the same setup I have been looking for. Thanks for doing it before me, you made my life a little easier. I am running the same blower on 9 psi with a 302 stroker forged motor. The stock block lasted 3 days for me so you are a bit more lucky than I. Good luck and please let us know how it holds up.

I use the lightning pump on mine with the same afco h/e. The pump pumps nicely.

Awesome thread. I'm also running over 500rwhp on a stock block so cooling is definitely important to me. Especially considering that I drag the car often and shift at 6400 rpms. Looking at the picture of the lightning pump, it appears to be almost identical to the bosch pump that came with the whipple, so that makes me feel a little better. For the last 3 years, I've been running the whipple reservoir and I fill the system with one bottle of water wetter and 100% distilled water. I'm looking to upgrade to Lethal's larger whipple coolant reservoir soon, and I think this thread might be the push I needed.

I emailed Jerry Dickinson at meziere.com to ask him which type of pump should I have for my setup & he said this one : http://www.meziere.com/ps-892-860-wp136s.aspx

but The pump is not a direct bolt-in replacement , some modification or fabrication may be necessary to mount the water pump (of course).

so is there big differences between Meziere, lightning and KB worth to spend $$ on it ?

how much does the KB and lightning flows GPM ?

The Bosch pump is 7 LPM the Meziere is 20 LPM a much better pump. I wish I could show you how we mount it and the 55 LPM pump.

really Bosch has 7 LPM ?!? , but it's written 20 GPM on Meziere not LPM (20 GPM = 75.7 LPM ) , (7 LPM = 1.8 GPM ) http://www.deltainstrumentation.com/calcs.html

so it's a huge difference. I'll ask KB to see how many GPM their pump flow and let you know
