Stock clutch ?
I have an 06 GT 5 speed manual w/6000 miles.
About how far out should the pedal travel before the clutch is completely disengaged and the car is in gear? Feels like it's about 3/4 on mine.
What are some of the signs that your clutch is worn?

RE: Stock clutch ?
If you give it just the right amount of throttle while slipping the clutch out then it will be a smooth transition. If you give it to much clutch and not enough gas you'll bog the engine down or it will stall. If you give it to much gas and not enough clutch then the RPMs will jump up and the engine will just rev instead of getting into gear smoothly.
Make sense?

RE: Stock clutch ?
The easiest way to check for a worn clutch is going at not too much speed, in a slope in a tall gear, say 4th, at 2000 or even less and punch it, this way you apply a huge load to it that is not easy to spin by the engine (as it you do it in 2nd, for example) and you will see the rpm going up without the car moving any faster.
A clutch that is starting to go wont show signs of it in 1st or 2nd.

95 octane? Must be nice. Only thing here is 93 unless you want 5.29/gal 100 Octane race fuel.

The beautiful thing is that it cost only 9 cents/gallon
