So where's the good advice? Visit www.howstuffworks.com? That's his good advice? Anyway, no big deal.

All I wanted to know was if it's smart to do headers first or wait until the Whipple is installed, or it really doesn't matter.

I'm just going to get a Whipple and skip the headers for now.

As for the police incident, the three men had FBI printed in bold yellow block letters on the backs of their shirts. Their was some other writing on their shirts butI couldn't read it. I saw them radio in my tags/license/registration so it looked legit. I've gotten stopped twice before for speeding in this Mustang by undercover guys in Hemi Durangos (because the guy told me it was a Hemi), Trailblazers and plain-jane white ATF work vans. I tend to drive quick when I'm running late for work. Plus, it's fun to stretch my pony's legs.

Since enforcing traffic laws are not even part of the job description fora Special Agent of the FBI it seems you must be a complete tool behind the wheel to get an FBI tac team to pull you over.
I would have asked for a marked car right away because that is really unusual to have feds stop you for a TV.

This sounds like a silly question, since a Whipple costs as much as five sets of headers.

He's asking more from a performance standpoint than a cost standpoint.

Oh, I was commenting on the part where he could either afford the headers or the supercharger.
