Default RE: steeda cai & tune question

https://mustangforums.com/m_5000842/tm.htm

Just as a reference to the backstory on this for anyone else....

I stick by what I said man.. Steeda's Tunes are VERY VERY conservative (almost to the point that I sometimes wonder if Steeda didn't develope the factory program for Ford) and chances are that they have it pulling too much timing as the Air Intake Temperatures rise. The stock setup from Ford has this exact same problem, and I have seen this in my Buddies FRPP CAI, which is made and tuned for Ford by Steeda. Just correcting this can make a major difference. I would start with ordering a new Mail Order tune from any of the popular Mail Order tuners around here. Brenspeed, Bama, Modular Depot, MVP... Heck, if you weren't in NC, I'd say come to my place and I'll straighten you out for what it would cost me and a couple slices of pizza.

Sorry to say it, but? Time for a new tune and to get rid of the headaches. Bama or brenspeed, try a single tune file out and problem should be gone. Sucks that steeda's tune had your car that messed up.
