Default Gear Slippage?

I just had 3.73 gears installed on my 07. I heard about gear whine or slippage and I do notice something different in the way my car shifts and accelerates. I have an auto btw.

When I accelerate sometimes it will shift into 2nd or 3rd and then for a second it will stop accelerating and then a fraction of a second later it will pull again. Is this slipping? It doesn't happen all the time. How would I check for whine/slippage? What damage could be done from whine or slippage?

Gears don't slip. Do you have a custom tune for the 3.73?

Your hesitation sounds like a tune issue or it could be the fuel pump tsb. It could also be traction control kicking in.

This is my guess.
