BBK 62mm Throttle Body
any thoughts on it? I hear it would be a nice addittion to my KB 2.6L. I really don't need anymore power, but you know how it goes. Once you mod, you just can't stop! Anyone ad it on to an already blown car? Would I need to re tune? Any advice or suggestions?

RE: BBK 62mm Throttle Body
You have a 50/50 chance that it will work right if you go with the BBK. Since it is blown, you may benefit with some HP out of this mod, but mostly your throttle response is where you will feel the most difference.
If you must have it, contact your local Ford dealer and get the GT500 throttle body. It is made by Ford; for Ford and is the only for-sure way your car won't throw any codes after the install. It is cheaper than the BBK, and bigger (65mm). You will need an adapter plate to get it to fit, and I don't think it requires a tune. The extra air flow will be picked up by the MAF, so I don't think you should need one. ful
Everything above applies to N/A configurations, so you may want another opinion from someone who has a charger before you quote me on it, but I think you should be ok. Again, aftermarket TBs are known for throwing codes and making cars go into limp mode(or fail-safe mode), so be careful! BBK is probably the better one out of the aftermarket TBs because it brings plastic gears like the stock TB does. If you see metal gears, DON'T BUY IT!

Someone is feeding you some BS. BBK TB is a waste of money.

And not usefull untill you´re pushing past 12 lbs of boost.

RE: BBK 62mm Throttle Body
Get Adams TB kit (ST motorsports) if you want more power. He has an upgraded larger CAI, a modified upper manifold and a mono-blade Black Diamond 1600 CFM TB for the Kenne Bells.
They also make a 2000 CFM Black diamond mono-blade TB which is overkill for anyone.
