Default Thinking about switching intakes

I was thinking about switching intakes on our 05 GT 5spd. We currently have the K&N and we are thinking about switching to a spare C&L true flow we got. We have a SCT Tuner. What do you guys think?

You should see much better performance and sound. The K&N is not a bad CAI, it did quite well especially with a tune but the larger intakes really do make a difference.

When I switched from my K&N to the Steeda I was amazed at how much better it is. Not only looks better, but gives a lot more HP and louder and more rumbly sound.

I highly recommend the Steeda CAI w/ carbon fiber high flow elbow since it looks so cool and performs well, but if you already have the C&L you won't be disappointed.

Thanx... well i think we are gonna go with the C&L becuase i think it looks cooler. I already have the intake because one of my neighbors sold it to me for 100 bucks after i found his dog and took care of it for a day

What are the odds that my neighbor just sold his mustang and took off the intake and i found his dog!!!!

$100 dang that's a super deal. My Steeda w/ carbon fiber elbow cost over 400!

Yeah, i had to get it for 100 even if i was just gonna resale it.... and the K&N i had came with the car when we bought it.

So i put the C&L and it looks better and i think sounds a little better.... it might have a little bit better throttle response but nothing ridiculous. You guys got me looking at the Steeda carbon fiber. LOL. Maybe if i sell the K&N and C&L
