I still have the email from him,he states the following: "power is power, 440rwhp with 9psi is exactly the same risk as 440rwhp with 7.5psi and cams. there is no less risk or wear and tear on the engine."

Well, you are increasing the amount of air pumped in to the engin either way. One way by increasing supercharger rotor speed. The other way by increasing the valve lift and time that the valve is open and removing restriction on the intake side. Both ways can result in increased cylinder pressures.
Spending 2500 for labor, cams, spring and retainers may be what some prefer but it seems much more sensible to put a $90.00 pulley on and get the same gains.

Plus IMO a pulley is only good for 10 rwhp at the most.

I wonder what specd out custom cams would cost. I think you could get cams built for boost and the idle that you want. Might even be able to get the NSR kind so that the labor and cost would be down. They might even be able to spec it out so that you dont lose so much low end driveability.

Thats a good idea, Ive always had custom cams ground for all my sbc/bbc stuff in the past. With The stock engine i think the cam companys are pretty limited to what they can do for the stock valve to piston clearnces though.

do the cams!! you will love it.
It made my mustang seem more like the american muscle car it is suppose to be. I dont much care for the smooth import style idle. I have always had hotrodded small and big block chevys since I was 16, so I was missing the sound and feel of the cammed up engine.
My wife had no idea what I did to my car but when she drove it after the cams, she said that it felt like it was faster
