Electric Problems
I have an 05 GT with 57,000 miles and I'm experiencing my first malfuntion; The engine cranks slow on start up when cold as if the battery is going. Don't know if this is the case or if starter is drawing too much power. Anyone else see this? Thanks!

An old battery in cold weather, even one that cranks fine in warm weather, will have a bit of difficulty cranking an engine. You should be able to have a capacity test done on the battery or simply get a new one if yours is the original. Although some batteries can last a long time, 3-4 years is about average with many batteries not making it much more than 3.
The battery in one of my SUV's is going on 9 years. I haven't replaced it just to see WHEN it'll actually die (but I DO carry jumper cables!).

Thanks. I've checked into it enough to be pretty sure it's the battery. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced starter and/or related electrical problems. This is the first model year after all and we've all been pretty lucky no gremlins have popped up that would be straightened out on later productions.
