Default Check engine strategy code after custom tune?

Hey guys just a quick question for anyone that might have some ideas. The other day I loaded up a 87 octane tune after installing my JLT. The car ran well but it was really just a hold over until I ran the tank empty to put the 93 tune in. Well on Thursday I filled up with 93 and loaded up the 93 tune. After the tune was loaded I got a check engine and the following engine codes; p0060, p0141, p0155, p0161. I plugged the SCT back in and read the codes which all had to do with an 02 sensor heater. I cleared the codes and the check engine went away. I then decided to load the 87 tune back in and got the same codes. Again I read and cleared the codes. Anyone have any idea why I got these codes and why the 87 codes popped up the second time I loaded that tune but not the first? Some additional info: I have not made any mods to my 02 or exhaust outside of axlebacks. Second I did not return the car to stock between going from 87 to 93 or 93 back to 87, not sure if that's something that should be done or not to start fresh. The car seems to be driving fine on the 87 and the 93 before I returned to the 87, no knocking or pinging that I can hear. Performance seems on par with the 87 tune now as it did before when I was on 87 before the 93 flash.
Thanks for any insight anyone might have.

Well, I'm not going to be of much help with the codes, or why it's happening, but you definitely can load one tune after another like you did without returning to stock in between. Also for future reference, I think people might be confused by the way you are using the word, "strategy". The strategy code is sort of the ECM's software/firmware ID. You can read it with the handheld tuner, but what you are talking about are MIL/check engine/DTCs. Your ECM has only one strategy at a time, but you can run into problems tuning if your tuner designed the tune based on your car's strategy, and then a Ford dealership decides to upgrade your firmware and it changes the strategy; now your tunes won't work with the car.

Anyway, sorry I can't be of more help...

I've never had knocking with my tunes, 87 or 93, my issue was just a check engine code on the 02 heaters after the custom tune was loaded. If you are getting knocking that is a big problem that you should fix before you drive your car anymore.

One option is to return everything back to stock, and see if the codes go away. If they do, then reload the 93 tune. If they return, then contact the tune supplier for a possible tune related problem.
If the codes appear with everything stock, then there's a problem that's not tune related.

I had the same problem when I put my C&l on my car. I had no problem with the tunes the first time but after that anytime I change my tune I get the same codes about the 02 heater. From talking to alot of people I was told that this is a problem that alot of people are having and that this is normal now.
