Jersey: Brenspeed says there is no way I am hitting anything over 7 on boost with this kit, it has a 3.8 pulley I think whatever the stock Saleen 475 kit offers, think the gauge is off.

moosestang: self install. Seems to run completely fine, just the fuel pressure is all over the place. Vacuum at idle is about -10 Brenspeed says I don't need BAP or anything for this kit, I assume they have lots of experience with it and know. They also said as long as my a/f is ok, don't worry about the fuel pressure. And that I would see as low as 12 in some circumstances, and I have for very short time

Car has not been dyno'd.

Manual trans.

Max pressure (2 bar total or 1 bar over sea level) outputs 4.9 volts and 14.7 psi (29.4 with a 0 intercept). In order to get a true 0 psi reading with the aeroforce we would need 2.45 volts (half of 4.9 max) instead of the 2.27 actual output.

In a nutshell I think the gm 2 bar sensor just doesn't have the correct voltage output range for the aeroforce gauge to be correct from 0 to max boost. Since I'm most interested in max boost I decided to calibrate the reading to be most accurate at the top instead of at 0 per the directions.
I'm going to try to find a map sensor with a 0 psi point that starts at 2.26 volts. I wonder if the gm 3 bar does?
I have the the 2 bar also, it was cheaper and reads to 15 psi, so figured was all I needed. Unfortunately, I don't understand most of what you wrote LOL. I just have not been around this stuff at all... need to find some friends to hang with that are into it. Anyway, just took a quick test run, and in my next post are some MAF and pump duty cycle readings.

I would get a manual boost gauge to confirm your numbers. The manual gauge will be way more acurate than an electronic gauge with map sensor.

Vacuum at idle should be 20+.

You have a wide band?

test run recorded.

vac/boost-----fuel Press-----fuel pump DC-----maf lbs

6.7-----------33------------45---------------51.73

7.2------------30.1----------31---------------17.65

4.4-----------54.3-----------26---------------3.48

-9.9----------65.5-----------35---------------14.65

5.6-----------25.6-----------44---------------57.11

.8------------58.4-----------23---------------3.5

0.o-----------37.2-----------39---------------40.09

7.6-----------24.4-----------42---------------40.35

7,5-----------29.1------------48--------------49.84

-7.8---------70.2------------28---------------3.5

Does any off this make sense. While I say the two gauges are in sync, I don't know for sure how close the are, I just count how many readings I cycle thru and do the same on both gauges.

Vacuum 20 +? wow, maybe have seen 12, but mostly 10 at most, which reads -10 on the aeroforce.

Yes I do have wideband, and that is what Brenspeed told me is all I should be worried about. it reads 14.7 +-.2 most time, with quick spikes rich and lean during heavy accel or deceleration.

Vacuum on the aeroforce is in psi. Most gauges are in inches of mercury or Hg. -10 psi = about -20 Hg.

Ok, then I seem to be in the same ballpark. Did you ever research the aeroforce forums for info, the techs over there usually answer within a day. You should throw at them your figuring in you other post above
