Post HID Kit for 2008 Mustang GT

Hello. Im new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone knows of a really good HID conversion Kit for a 2008 Mustang GT. I dont really care about the price, I just want a really reliable and good quality kit.

Default HID

O yea. Check out Retro-Solutions. Best conversion kits going. I have had the 35W (they have 35W & 55W), 6000K BiXenon (hi & lo beams) for over a year with zero problems. When I bought mine they advertised a lifetime warranty. If your 'Stang doesn't have the little black hat type shield over the end of your bulbs, you need to order the coating option (keeps you from blinding oncoming drivers).

I have the retro solutions 35W digital 5000K kit and it caused 0 problems for like 8 months. Then the relay messed up, so they sent me a new relay in the mail for free. after getting the new relay, i hooked it up and one of my ballasts wouldnt work. i just shipped my ballast back today and we will see what happens from here. I really loved the kit until it messed up last month, but i guess thats just my luck. Todd is very quick with replies to problems though, so i would still recommend their kit.

08's probably don't have the black shield. They were discontinued for the 07 model year. If you get the RS kit, you should get the coating as well.

your BEST kits are the Saleen and Factory conversions. everything else is just slapping bulbs in housings that were not designed for them.

If you go that route, get the Saleen's. The OEM Ford ones look like crap...the light shield is fugly...and they're the same price.

Here's a link to Saleen's website:
