The other day i had a run with a cobalt on the interstate and when i got close to 100 my engine seemed to have a fuel cut or bog out? its hard to explain. It happend again a couple days later could this be tune related?

Any chance you hit the rev limiter? The only other known fuel/spark cut would be TCS but I doubt it was that at 100 MPH. If you can provide more detail it would help. You might want to contact Brenspeed and ask. They may have some troublshooting for you to try that would help diagnose it.

Another possible cause is a faulty fuel pump(There's a TSB for this). The momentary hesitation caused by it normally happens as soon as you go WOT. But if your car was already going close to 100 mph when you went WOT, then the fuel pump may have been the culprit.

it def wasnt the rev limiter. im going to call brenspeed today and see if they have any input. im thinking its the fuel pump though it did it again today when i was geting on the onramp to the interstate going about 80.

I've experienced similar problems, but I know it was the fuel pump. Did it happen immediately upon going WOT?

In my experience and from what i've heard from others, the fuel pump issue would be apparent as soon as you go WOT. Calling brenspeed is probably your best bet.
