Default E Brake

I have a 2006 V8 GT. The e brake does not hold. I have adjusted the lever and it is tight. Have 60% remaining on the pads. What is wrong?

Thanks
Bob

You've probably been pulling to hard from day and stretched the cables

I agree. You should replace the cable.
