i am planning to purchase a 2010 gt in the next few weeks, can someone give me some advice on which gear would be best, the 3.55 or the 3.73 ? any opinions are appreciated !!!

I am ordering as well soon and I was going with the performance option of the 3:73. Worse on gas, but better on the cheese eating grin

Make sure you have the 2010 brochure, as it will explain this:

you can get the following rear axle options:

The 3.55 is available on Manual GTs only

The 3.73 Rear Axle Package includes the gears as well as dual-piston brake calipers (is this better than stock???) and pads and a different ESC tuning (for manuals only) and is available on both of the GT's

There will be the Track Pack coming out later, which takes the above option and adds the bigger sway bars, dampers and lower control arm from the GT500, plus 19" wheels and summer performance tires. It's only available on the GT Premium.

I test drove a 2010 GT Premium with the 3.73 package and it pulled like rocket.
I would probably get that option, as I feel the stock brakes could always use some help!

Your main issue with these packages will be price

Orion...I am with you man, I drove the car and LOVED it. Made me forget all about the back-end of the car
