gears update question!!!!!expert help...

Default gears update question!!!!!expert help...

does any experts know how much time afftect auto GT 0-60 and 1/4mile by install a 3.73 gear or 4.10 gear. ??????and how much top speed will decrese for both of them plz give me specific answer..
example would be like this
3.73 gear : before : 5.3sec after:xxxxx top speed decrese:from 145 to XXX
4.10 gear: before : 5.3sec after: xxxxx top speed decrese: from 145 to xxx

depends on how you launch it, but it's quick none the less..
sorry to be less specific lol.

I had mine installed a few weeks ago, along with new tires and I finally got how to launch it just right.

I 'thought' about getting 3.73s, but I am glad I got the 4.10s. Feels nearly identical to stock until you get on it. Top end was NOT effected surprisingly, tops out the car real quick!

I feel I can only answer the top speed question: For the most part, no change. You're engine will rev higher at your top speed but our Stangs are top end-limited by drag, not gears. With my 3.55's, I'm turning just shy of 4000 RPM at 130 MPH. It's also a function of tire diameter. In short, as far as gears go, don't sweat top end.
