Default gt500 Supercharger transplant in 2007 gt?

This may be common knowledge around here...so maybe you guys can help.

If i am buying a used shelby supercharger and injectors with 2,000 miles on it, is there anything i should be aware of ? or need?

And what would be a good asking price for one!

Thanks for the help!

you'll need the rest of the engine. Sorry bud, the GT500 S/C will not fit on the 4.6.

Actually it fits perfectly. You just need a custom manifold. There was a post about this a while back, I forget which shop, JPC or JDM, makes a manifold that will work. It's not cheap though.

You will need a lot more than just a custom lower manifold. You will need a custom lower manifold that is designed to fit a 4.6 3v heads to start. You will need the serpentine belt and pullies, the under manifold intercooler, the heat exchanger, the intercooler pump, intercooler lines, Intercoller rervoir tank, the upper manifold and TB and more.
I have not seen this alleged manifold from JDM or Justin but if you ask Logan's or Hogan's Manifolds to make you a custom manifold they can do it for about 3000 dollars.

Just go buy a supercharger made for a three valve it will cost less and make more power. There are guys trying to unload the Eaton GT500 blowers everywhere and nobdoy wants them because it is too much custom fabrication.

Yeah the cost buying a mediocre SC plus the cost of fabbing everything up w/ a new manifold, injectors, etc would cost more then just buying s SC kit made for our cars.
