Gear changes?
hmmm....that's odd. The info on the tach says I am getting 18.8 mpg. It was 16.5 before. Also, after I got back from the track all day, it says my average speed was 103 mph, exactly what I was trapping all day as well. Better clear it before I bring it back for a tune up eh? lol...
I'm wondering why nobody is talking about 3.90's. I know that Ford doesn't offer them, but what about MotoBlue? I am thinking about it for my next modification. My car is not under warranty anymore so I guess anything goes. However, if MotoBlue gears are crap,..someone please let me know. Thanks!
well, I suppose it's all a matter of who makes the MotoBlues. I know Motive makes ALOT of there gears out there, but there is the rumor that they all whine.. but I have also heard that it's all in the installation. I would have gone Motive gears as well, but I did not want to take the risk.
On a side note.. I am KEEPING the 4.10s, even after the addition of a supercharger. I have just driven to and from my classes which are about 80 or so miles (160 total)away in another town and it's not so bad. Granted, I have to play 'dodge car' in order to stay at a reasonable RPM but it's all good. The in city acceleration is exceptional... the 3.31s were just 'wap wap waaahhhhh' lol...
