I have a Paxton 2200 Novi SL kit coming from Brenspeed and I am doing the install myself. Has anyone been down this road? Any pointers? Certain things that I should be aware of that will help? How many hours will I need. I'm going straight through til it's done, I don't care. Im gonna take my time and do it right, but I'm not stopping til it's complete. Also are you happy with the kit?

Careful when you say "I'm going nonstop until it's done."

I had that mentality when doing my stripes, and I ended up doing a horrible job on the rear bumper because I thought I could "just keep going without stopping (sleeping)."

Breaks (long and short) are healthy because they allow you to focus and concentrate on other things...or at least to stop focusing and concentrating on one thing in particular. You will do a much better job if your mind is clearer than if you are trying to power through it and get "install hypnosis" like I did. You might have to break it up into two days. Give yourself enough time for mistakes (they will happen) and breaks (they are needed), and you'll ensure not only a successful install, but also a relatively enjoyable install experience.

Good luck!

yeah I guess it depends on the person. Thanks for the advise, I was looking more for someone who has installed the kit and has had first hand experience and maybe some pointers for me.

Just installed the KB Boost-a-pump. Mounted the lean/rich dial in the cockpit, driver side down on the wall where the lever to pop the hood is. Was very easy...hope the rest of the install is that easy...lol. The spark plugs, injectors, and boost-a-pump came from brenspeed...unfortunately something got held up in production so the rest of the kit I am awaiting from Paxton...the suspense is killing me!

For starters make sure you read the install guide that is in the box atleast 2xs before you unpack everything and make sure you are up for what is involved. IMO it is worth the $800-$1000 to have this installed at a shop and spend the $500 on a dyno tune. If something goes wrong you have a shop to fall back on.

If you read the installation guide and really dead on getting it done.. I am pretty sure you will be successful in the install. Good luck!
I really like the Paxton kit and the high whp numbers they put out...

Just turn the BAP to MAX and forget it!.....Brenspeed would recommend this as well......Joe (Mellowyellow06) has a paxton I believe and can offer some tips and hopefully the others will chime in too.... (05 mustang has one too I think?)

guys i really appreciate the feedback...I hope some others chime in as well. I just want this install to go as smooth as possible. One thing I can do is turn a wrench, that's not an issue. But getting help/tips from someone who has been down this road before would def help! Thanks guys!
