Just did a rundown with the T/C off and it was better but not great. It seemed the limiter cut out a little higher and I was getting a surge when I kept it spinning in second at high RPM like the engines throttle was surging this was at WOT. Any answers?

IMHO - Fantastic!

Dan the shop owner really know's his stuff and will explain the what and why of anything you want to know. He's been the only guy to work on my car.

get a tune done there and all your issues will go away IMO (provided there is no mechanical issue with the car)

Sounds like the TC issue to me....What RPM is this happening at about 6250 RPM's? If so its the rev limiter and that is where it is set from the factory. Mine is set at 6800 RPMS! and I shift before 6500 RPMs which is where my max HP is on the dyno!

6250 exact and it drives me nuts it pulls out a split second before I shift all the time. I do not want to spend money on a retune when I am going to make many changes anyhow. Thanks for the input.

I put on a shift light and set it 200 rpm below redline, by the time I can react and shift I'm right there with no bump off the limiter. It also comes in real handy for the 2-3 shift as well.

Hitting the limiter can not be good for your belt and pulleys. I would not personally raise the limiter since that is taking a chance on stock internals. TC off is a good recomendation, it does funny things when you don't want it to.
