Help Please for a newbie
I have owned a mustang gt 05 from new.
I imported the car to grand cayman. It has been serviced by the ford dealer.
Done only 16000 miles.
Yesterday I was driving and lost power. I took it to the dealer and they said that no 1 cylinder had 0 compression. They tell me they need to take the head off to check the valve. Any reason you know why this would happen? Do I have any recourse with ford?
The only thing that happened recently was I needed a new throttle body as the car was stalling. When it was fitted the idle revs were a lot higher. Could this have caused a poor air/fuel ratio causing this.
The only modification to the car is a magnaflow exhaust system which I fitted over 3 years ago.
Your help is greatly appreciated
Thanks
Scott

First off, installing an aftermarket exhaust will not cause a loss of compression.
0 PSI probably means there are stuck valve(s) or a broken/worn out cam lobe. I say this because a blown head gasket, worn piston ring, galled up cylinder or bent charge plate will still have some sort of compression.
Assuming it's a 3V 4.6L- either both intake valves aren't opening OR the exhaust valve is stuck open (or bent/broken).
