new guy in ohio
hey all, so im the new guy, and i was wondering, is there a how to thread? i mean i was looking to figure out how to make my dash lights stay white on my 05 gt wheni turn the lights on. i know someone has figured this out. lol
"Stay white" - Do you mean changing the instrument light colors using mycolor?
If so, if you still have your '05 owner's manual (also available online and downloads - search forums for thread), on page 54, it gives a nice how-to change the light colors. In order to change the colors, your headlights must be in the "on" position, then you press the setup button on the dash until you see the "display color". You can adjust the backlight color to any standard color plus make your own.

Here's the how-to's but you may need to do some additional searching...

But if you're talking about the MyColor, then check your Owners Manual. It won't bite.

Well I don't think I have mycolor. Idk really but when I start the car up at night the gauges illuminate white. Then I turn the lights on and they go green. WTF!! Lol so besides getting a new gauge overlay or something I thought I could fiddle with the wiring to get it to stay white.
