seriously, i think we all dream of creating a monster engine
capable of destroying pavement wherever we go, but the
reality is after you invest your blood, sweat and tears on the
project, you may start whistling a different tune and become
just a tad more conservative.

I've been there, I've heavily modded every car I've owned and setbacks suck. at least for the me the satisfaction of the mods and the fun of doing the work still outweighs the setbacks. but every project hits a limit, I hit that limit with my old car. it got to the point where to me it wasn't worth investing any more money into it and it made more sense to sell it and put that money towards a new project.

I'm pricing my options out and things add up quick so I'm not going to just jump into the huge power game. but so far I like the car and I see myself keeping it for a while so I think the money would be worth it to put that huge grin on my face whenever I stomp on the gas

tell me about it! it got to the point on my build that i
just didn't care anymore....another tool $$$, another
this, another that $$$....just close your eyes and hand
over the credit card, it's less painful that way.

i'll be following your build, i think it will be awesome.

ha ha, it is less painful when you don't add up the real total of everything, just add up the baby steps
