Getting new gears, need help.

so if i have a J&L CAI with a sct tuner. will i have to re-tune the car with the 4.10 gears?

Not a retune, but you would use the programmer and change the rear gear ratio. Everything else stays the same.

If you have an automatic, you will need a re-tune for 4.10 to have the shift points adjusted.

Alright cool. Well I have an auto, so would I go with 4.10 or what?
