Default Shorty Headers

I have an 08 Mustang GT. How will adding shorty headers change the sound of the car? Will the sound be louder and/or more aggressive? I do a good deal of highway driving and I don't want any drone. I currently have Magnaflow catbacks and don't have any drone. I had a 2004 Mustang GT with Magnaflow catbacks and the 04 sounded more aggressive.

I doubt you will notice much of a change in sound, as I see you had a 2004 Mustang with a mid muffler setup previously. I will go ahead and break it to you now...you will never duplicate the sound from your previous mustang on the new S197. Yes, this broke my heart too...and all because ford changed the fuel tank location on the S197. The rear mufflers are not the same for resonance and drone. Although, most people have seemed to adopt the liking of the new KR mufflers from FRPP. The same mufflers used on the GT500KR and the FR500S Mustangs. If I had 500 bucks I would buy a set, and IMHO would be money better spent on your S197.

Forget shortys go long tubes. With myset up I have zero drone whatsoever. Pypes long tubes, h pipe, hf cats, and american thunder flowmasters. Has a very aggresive tone when your on the gas.
