I have heard a few people say that as well but if thats true then why would livernois motorsports put their reputation on the line for a part that doesnt really work. Just a question without sounding like a jack@&&

So the guy from livernois motorsports got back with me and he said they did infact use longtubes on the car during there tests of the manifold. I wonder why they dont tell their readers that. Not once did it say in the article they were using longtube headers. So really in my opinion this part really isnt all that great unless i suppose you were to get fi. He did tell me that they sell it for 549 if your still interested.

I called Brenspeed and spoke with those guys. They ran tests on this part and said they didnt see much gain either. The bottom line is, unless you have FI on the car, the FRPP ( as well as the C&L) are not worth getting. If your in a state that allows LT, the maybe its worth it as well. So, Ill just save the 600 and start working on suspension, (FI in some years to come)

Hey Joutcelt, do you know how much hp/tq you gained with the detroit rockers?

Maybe I´m misunderstanding something here, but they are claiming 359hp/351tq out of a stock Mustang?

I haven't seen any real reviews regarding the C&L intake manifold that was being developed nearly a year ago. Is that an officially dead topic these days?

I'm not particularly impressed with them. The above is another problem that emerges from time to time......not fully disclosing the mods that contributed to the alleged power gains.

Default Intake Manifold?

IMO - just go with your shorties and cams. If it proves out that the new intake is worth it, it's a reasonably easy install for down the road.

Im not real sure what the actual number is but they thought around 15. However i could tell a big difference in performance once they were installed. Im getting longtubes next spring to get the most out of them

Not bad gains at all. Can't wait to get the cams and shorties installed and dyno'd. I will def post the numbers when i get them. Unfortunately im waiting on an investigation with my insurance company because they didnt fix my car right from a recent accident. So once the car is fixed, ill be installing. I think ill just go with what i got, and if the manifold starts getting put in N/A vehicles with good numbers, ill put it in.
