Intake Manifold?
FYI.. just got off the phone with FRPP guys and i paraphrase... they saw gains of up to 40 rwhp with this manifold with they're cams and cnc ported long tube headers. I asked if I would see similar gains with cams and shorty headers and he said around 25, but it depends on the type of cams you have. I asked if they tested the manifold with any other cams or headers and that was a negative. They tested it only on they're parts, which would be hot rod cams.. and cnc ported lt headers? hope this helps any ?'s others may be having, but this is not good enough for me to purchase this part and see if i gain anything or not. In my gut, putting this on with my detroit rockers and bbk shorties is a gamble that would prob cost me money for not much hp gain in my situation.

So i have bbk ceramic shorty's and Detroit rocker cams waiting to be installed. Already on the car i have, JLT cai, 93 TUne, delete plates, Steeda UDP, Bassani catted X, 410's and SLP powerflos. SHould i go ahead and get FRPP intake manifold and install all three at the same time, or just put the money elsewhere?
Last month had the new FRPP intake installed. The car was run on the dyno to get a baseline, the intake was installed and the car was dynoed again, picked up an additional 18 H.P. car lost a little torque below 2500 r.p.m.
Had 4.10s installed at the same time. Love the set up. I don't notice any loss of torque, car feels much stronger with the cams, LT's, intake and of course the 4.10's.
The intake was $529 delivered from BuyFordRacing so for the price I am pleased with the gain.
The above work was done at Alternative Auto in Metro Detroit.
This spring I had FRPP Hot Rod Cams, Throttle body and Kooks LT's installed on my 07GT,gained 30 r.w.h.p. over a C&L CAI and Steeda UDP's.

Interesting it could be something that is somewhat worth putting in. Especially since it makes the engine bay look better
In regards to the 18 hp gain, where on the rpm band did you gain it at? If its truly up in the 6000 rpm, i doubt I'd get up to that rpm range. Is that 18 hp going to the wheels? still debating on if its worth getting, and Im still on the "nope" side of things.
Just for fun.
I went to one of those ET/Trap/rwhp calculators (http://www.race-cars.net/calculators/et_calculator.html) and plugged in following
weight of 3700 with driver (guess for your cars)
350 rwhp.......result...12.78 @ 107
then added 18 rw....result...12.57 @ 108
for 400 rwhp...result...12.22@111
then added 18 rw...result...12.04@113
for my car which weighed 3850 with driver (cage and turbo etc adds lots weight)
750 rwhp...result...10.04@135 (close enough to my car's timeslips)
then added 18 rw...result...9.95@135
may help you decide?????? New build in progress, does include a custom intake manifold

hmmmm. It does somewhat help, but at the same time i'm installing shorties not LT. Doesn't this change things? Again, is the 18 hp gain at 6000 rpm? If im not going to race the car no time soon, i dont see the point of getting a piece where gains dont kick in within my driving range (1-4 rpm, 5max). Also, i have delete plates already on my car. Is the power gains much more than stock manifold with plates? This manifold comes with its own delete plates correct? or just gets rid of them all together?
