Question Best way to fix my stock exhaust?

Need some help on the best way to deal with this. This is where the H pipe meets the over axle pipes. The last guy who owned this apparently broke the clamp and just welded it? Anyway, this was done while running over something because the muffler hangers are all bent, and a couple of the bolts on the pipe clamps are as well. I bought some new mufflers, so the hangers on them don't matter. I was thinking of just buying some new clamps to replace the ones in the pic(below), having that weld removed, and popping the new clamps on. Will that be as easy as it sounds, or should it be done a different way??
