Default Comp 127300 cams installed

My cams came today. I had already changed the springs out https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6l...mousetrap.html last weekend.

Took a few pics along the way.

There they are with all the documentation. The centerlines, duration, and lift of each lobe was tested by comp and documented.

One last look at the rh stock cam.

Cam out.

New cam smeared with assembly lube and in place.

Scribe marks still lined up after the swap.

Left side cam in.

Left side scribe marks still lined up. All good to go.

I'm taking an old man back break right now. I'll go out and button it up in a little bit.

nice progress. I would suggest getting your valve covers painted while they are off

All done. Went for a test drive and it drives pretty well considering the tune hasn't been tweaked yet. New numbers on saturday. I'll get a sound clip up tomorrow.

Specs on the cams are LSA of 115.5 intake and exhaust duration at .050" 222/235 lift is .490/.480.

Stock cams have a LSA of 117.25 with intake and exhaust duration at .050" of 175/193 and lift of .433 for intake and exhaust.

Here's the sound. There is just a slight lope with the idle at 760. I may turn it up to 800. I really want my car to look and sound close to stock. Sleeper you know Dyno results will be up tomorrow.
