The motor Will, the motor. I am doing some super secret squirrel suspention modifications to help with drag launch but that stuff isn't very interesting, it's just tedious.

Next time I go to the track, I am going to have the 2 step hooked up. I am going to experiment with LCA location on the BMR brackets just for giggles.

Im surprised e85 does not get discussed more often in this part of the forum.

e85 is race gas for pump gas money, its been done over to death by the tuner crowd. Some are running over 700hp on the street with the stuff on a car that is basically DD status car. They however need nearly 40psi of boost to do that.

Hell the guys who run alcohol or water injection, should just fill the alky tank with this stuff, same effect.

It probably hasn't had a lot of discussion because a) it's flat out not available at all in some areas of the country and b) it's politicized.

but remember Guys... E85 is a lot harder on the oil too.

so it will use it up a lot faster than gasoline.

Oil analysis FTW

Thanks. It is alot of fun to drive. I've gone from e85 to pump gas and now back to e85. I like the way the motor runs on e85. It's really smooth. So far mileage is about 20% less with e85.

Are you having any success getting all that to the ground? Or have you done extensive suspension mods?
I struggle for traction at my measly ~430hp.

The last time I was at the track I only had 515rwhp. The 305/45/18 Nitto NT05R DR's hooked up quite nicely after a good 2nd gear burnout. My driving had something to be desired but I still managed a few 11.68-11.70 passes at around 122. Race weight with me in the car is close to 4000 lbs.

Traction with street tires just isn't going to happen at lower speeds unless I drive conservatively, even with the 295/45/18 555's I'm running.

The only suspention mods I have are lca and uca. I just recently changed to a softer rear spring but won't be able to see how well that works for a few months.
