Jim Jr at JDM told me to cut the HFs out asap after installing the m90. FI will melt the cats. Why risk it.

Possibly 22 inch resonators

Or a mid muffler and resonators, if you really want to clean up the sound. But thats a little overkill.

How much power are you all freeing up when you guys eliminated your cats and went OR pipe? I am keeping the stock mufflers, I don't want it to be deafening just more power.

When I had my salleen sc installed i asked brenspeed about having the Pypes Hi Flo cats and they seemed to think they would be ok. I have thought about changing them out maybe once a year. In my situation when I didnt have the hi flo's my exhaust had to much trumpeting. Thats why i had the hi flo's installed. So i think I will run with these Hi Flo's that I have right now and then at the end of the summer replace them and take a peak on the inside of the catts.

Places like summit has resonators you can install inline to reduce the echoing of the catless pipes. They are fairly in expensive.

+1

Summit is where I got my Dynomax race bullets to act as resonators. They were $41.95 each.

I have had my Paxton on for just about a year now while running Bassani high flow cats. They are metallic instead of ceramic so supposedly safer...

When I had the HF cats in there I had pypes m80's and the sound was very good. When I cut out the HF cats I put in some cherry bomb glasspacks cause its the only one that would fit under there with the m80's already there. Sound is still loud but manageable.
