Intercooler Nitrous mist??
Boost the Octaine levels and save the NAWSSSSS for the intake runners.
The Cyro kits are not worth the gains exibited.
In other words, they dont drop temps enough to warrant
the install of the bottle fill-ups.

The killer chiller is a great mod for a car running an air to water set up, but for an air to air it can't be used. If filling the bottles and everything is going to be to expensive, you can always do the cheap way and fill your windshield washer reservoir with ice water and route the sprayers to the intercooler. A talon out at willowsprings did that, only down side is it looks like your leaking coolant or something

Sucks to have nothing more than 90 octane up here in AK.
Thought about using 93 octane or more by adding Torco into the mixture, but I have to drive 55 miles to the track and don't want to waste it driving there OR having to mix it after I get there (90 for the trip, adding Torco there = 93 oct)
Anyone have experience in one of those NOS/NX brand intercooler misters?
I am getting an air to air intercooler, and thinking about spraying between runs or through the 1/8th mile to keep things chilled like a ****...
Suggestions???

June 17 / 95 degrees all night
first run no meth inlet temp 135 idle , 120 at wot / result 13.55@ 103.6
2nd run meth on at 7#s upper progressive set at 25#s 135 inlet/ 110 wot = 13.66@103.10
3rd run meth on @4#s upper same / inlet at idle 140/ 108 @wot/ 13.65@103.54
all runs were approx 20 min apart
no performance gains cause im just using meth to reduce inlet temp . I didn't modify the tune for meth . a/f was 11.4-11.6 @12 #s of boost
just fyi , in cooler weather (70-75) I gained 1.5 pounds of boost
no meth 13.23@107.24/13.38@107.19/13.38@106 no changes were made to the car from last track time , just cooler weather and more boost
yeah I don't think it would pass tech inspection at a drag strip. Willowsprings didn't seem to care, just asked him if it was coolant or oil, and when he said no and explained it they didn't care.

Thanks for saving me the trouble. I see some great numbers with the Centri blowers and meth, and assumed that those suckers just gave some massive octane increases and boost goes through the roof..
again, I just want something to keep the IATs to the minumum without going overboard...
I am spraying meth and nitrous at the same time. It work amazing and my tunes no longer need timing retard and now I can spray 175 wet. I was maxxed out at 125 before the meth. And if octane is your only hold back toluene, acetone and xylene all make great octane boosters. Just mix in Jerry can with fuel en route to track then add once you get there and drive a bit to get it into lines
Is that the one that hooks up the refrigerant and uses it as a cooling source??
I thought those only work with air/water cooling systems with heat exchangers??
holy shiet... 95?? I think we were at 95 degrees once.. back in 1955 or something like that lol It doesn't get that hot up in Alaska, except maybe in Fairbanks but I believe they are in a valley and below sea level...
Its usually around 75 degrees on the days I go to the track. Not gonna hot lap, other than make 3 runs at a time, then rest for about 15-20 minutes. Sometimes I'll have to wait an hour or so during competition days, let them all run, then T&T in between classes (MOD ET, King of the streets etc.)
I have never ran at the track before with the interooler on the Vortech.. but i am pretty sure it'll make a huge difference over no intercooler at all. On the 12.5 run I waited with the hood open for an hour and a half!
.. even then I could feel it loosing power once I hit 100mph.
On a standard hot run I'd be running 13.3s all day, 12.8s if I waited at least 25 minutes. Not fun running a hot car.
Which meth are you running? Snow performance or Devil's own??
Do you have any pics?
Very curious about this set up.

do you know what the approximate temp outside will b when you go , are you gonna hot lap ? I had a few test and tune days and and didn't see much heat soak ,but most runs were 20 min . in between, some runs with meth , some with out . here are some of the times and conditions
