Anyone running rear panel subs instead of the Shaker 1000 subs in the trunk?

I want to run some subs in the rear panel above the back seats using the truck as an enclosure. Removed the Shaker subs/amp to remove weight.

I am thinking of putting in some 8 inch subs and wiring an amp in the trunk...

 

I have thought about doing this too... The sloped rear window should enhance the bass as the rear deck and window create a "horn-loaded" effect.

Let me know how it turns out...
