cold air or not

engine guy is half right.
the heat shield is not as efficient in blocking the hot air like the OEM box.
but the CAI will get you more HP.

my whipple CAI shield is the same, not efficient.
when i'm stopped the air around the filter gets hot, but i'm not moving.
once you get moving, cold air goes in the filter.

the math is simple:
you want more HP, get a CAI. and dont forget the tune.

by your engine guy's logic, it would be better for me to ditch my Whipple and go back to stock.
