lit " 0 miles to empty". How far can I go with that?

I've always been baffled by this explanation. Isn't the fuel pick up at the bottom of the tank? If so, wouldn't it suck any garbage that is in the bottom of the tank anyway? (With all of the sloshing going on around corners and over bumps.)

Not picking on you Nuke, but I've heard this before and I don't understand it.

idk if its at the bottom but if it is then the garbage would be floating at the top and when the fuel level was really low then it would get sucked in to..just my educated guess lol

To be honest, I've often wondered the same thing. I just threw that out there for the potential that it's either a real issue or for the flames.

If you select a different color - other than red - for the MyColor illumination, the gas guage will change to red at 17 miles to Empty (mine does).

I have often wondered if my car overheats, does the water temp guage turn red when it gets to a certain point? Same for low/high oil pressure?
