Question on upgrades
I have recently purchased a 98 GT Mustang conv. 4.6 V8 (auto)
So far the only thing I have done to it is move the air intake to in front of the front tire and put a K&N on it. It has Flow-master 40s on it, but the 6 Cats take away from the nice sound I want. Im planning on increasing the tubing from 2.25 to 2.5 and putting 2 Flow-master 10s on it or SLP loudmouth 1s on it.
What other adjustments can I make to gain some power. I dont want it over the top, it is a everyday driver.
Should I put a new throttle body on, or throttle body spacer like a air raid?
New injectors?
Any help would be awesome. Thank you.

Tune it with a quality tune and not some canned junk tune. Your CAI is pretty much for looks with out it. In fact you may be doing more harm than good with the setup you have now. Don't bother with the throttle body or spacer. They are a waste of money you could spend on something else like tuner. Don't bother with the injectors either. A tune will take care of that for you. Not real sure about a stand alone K & N set up. Most of the people on this forum ( me included ) have a combo CAI / tuner. A CAI and a QUALITY CUSTOM tune will make all the difference in the world.
