My alarm just started arming itself as soon as i turn off the car, then we i unlock the doors the alarm goes off and my car won't start i have to use the button on the back of the flashing light to turn off the alarm and then my car will start again. but as soon as i turn it off it all starts over again. i tried disconnecting the battery but that did not help.
any ideas ?

I'm not sure but I believe the Owners Manual (that rectangular thing made of paper and cardboard with black markings on all the pages usually found in the glove box) includes the steps to reprogram the various options for the stock alarm system. If you don't have one, PM me and I'll e-mail the pdf version.

tried that and no luck it wouldn't let me reprogram nor would it let me switch to valet mode.
but this morning when i left for work everything is working fine again . damn computers .
