What is full exhaust? 290RWHP is very good, but numbers vary by dyno facility and ambient temperature. What's is important is the HP and TQ curves along with air fuel ratio line. Do you have a picture of the dyno sheet?

A CAI won't make much power unless you have a custom tune. And there's very little difference in power between the K&N and those other CAI's; it's the tune that makes the lions share of the power. With the numbers you posted, I suspect you DO have a custom tune since just a stand-alone CAI and exhaust work won't make 290 RWHP/ 325 torque unless you have cams and LT headers (the latter of which could be what you mean by full exhaust).

Dealing with unknowns here is difficult to say if your number s are good. Knowing if you have a custom tune with that CAI and what comprises your exhaust would be a big help. A stock 4.6L with a good CAI & custom tune can make 285-290 RWHP.

stock dyno #'s are more like 260 rwhp/ 280 tq.
so, for a CAI and exhaust that is right where it should be. or in the ball park.
a LS1 GTO is pretty fast. he's got about 100 hp on you stock vs stock.
and before you go changing rims, change the rear tires. something that sticks to the road.
by full exhaust, you mean long tube headers, off road midpipe, and axle backs?

The tuner is right about the rims. The bigger the rim, the less off the line acceleration. Try downsizing the rim and going with a stickier tire in the rear.
