Hey guys i went back to ford today. they are sending it back to the body shop to have them reseal everything again i guess? Every cowl has been sealed in and the problem has come back. All drains are clean and it doesnt appear to be coming in through the cabin air filter. This is such a nightmare, and i guess will put a hold on my suspension purchase. Will keep you guys updated. i can use the support!

This was mine when I resealed it. The original job wasn't the best so I applied a ton just to make sure.

I am very busy until May 26th, after that I will be removing it again and doing the driver's side for good measure. I will post a DIY guide with pictures. I did it in the dark (I've never done it before) on jack stands (a must is you leave the wheel on) and from start to finish, which included time just staring to figure it out, it took me about 3 hours.

If you can wait a month, I will get a guide up.

You paid them to fix it, yes? My suggestion since you've already spent the money for someone else to fix this is to....well, make them. But here is the relevant data..

UPDATES: the car went back to the body shop today. They took the fender back off and used a power washer to force it to leak. They found the leak coming from one of the grommets that hold the windshield cover panel thing in place. I know your probably saying duh thats even where the bulletin says the problem is, but the car was good for almost a year. Ford was the one who "sealed" those at the time, and used caulking, not body sealer. The body shop is gonna take all of the grommets out, i think there is eight across the whole windshield? and seal the s&*# out of them. After that i should be water free!.. again.....hopefully!

Duh! Didn't I post a picture of that? Using a pressure washer to force it to leak sounds like a bad idea. I hope they covered up the engine compartment.
