Default Best spark plugs for 08-10 GT's

Just looking for opinions, good or bad, on what spark plugs I should put in. I have the new style 1 piece plugs so changing them shouldn't be a big deal but I don't know what to buy. My engine is all stock except for a JLT intake and tune, and some flowmaster axlebacks. Any thoughts on this are appreciated.

Why are you replacing them? Lots of miles?

If you're mostly stock, then just get a set of stock plugs.

Agreed, unless you have FI or highly modded OEM plugs are fine.

FI or highly modded would typically mean a colder plug in which case Brisk is my preferred choice.

So there is nothing better than the oem motorcraft plugs from Ford?

All the other vehicles I've owned there is always different brands of plugs all
advertising why their the best. I just assumed their would be something better than the oem ones.

Here's a short list of parts that Ford has designed bullet proof in OEM form on the S197

Throttle Body, Plugs ('08 1/2+ only), and ignition coils.

You will be hard pressed to find better than OEM replacement for these aftermarket. Replacing them with non OEM typically leads to problems or failures in the short term.

For plugs, even if you do find a 'better plug' to put in, you won't notice the difference.

I agree. Unless you have an '05 to '08 with high thread plugs, I'd stay with OE Motorcraft or Autolite plugs.

What are "high thread" vs normal thread? Are ALL 05-08 GTs "high thread"? It will be good to know once I start building my FI setup

Mid way through 08 they changed it. Easy way to tell is look at the boot color on your coil packs.

Black - Old style
Brown - New style
