Transmission problems! Help!!
So the TR3650 is starting to go out (suspect syncrhos) in my 07 mustang gt. I've been running a Hellion turbo kit with 10 lbs of boost.. Puts down about 500 at the wheels.
Right now I have the Spec 3+ clutch installed..
I've been researching and so far I am starting to think it my be a good idea to upgrade to the Tremec TR6060 6-speed..
I have 3.55 gears in the rear.
I'm trying to spend the least amount of money here but on the other hand I want to do it right and not have to go back in a couple years just to repair the same issue.
It looks like with the TR6060 I will have to get a new clutch and drive shaft.
Also I am not sure if the 3.55's will be a good match for this transmission.
Any advice/recommendations on what I should do?
Any market for a used Spec 3+? A lot of life left in this clutch..
Please include estimated cost for your suggestion and where a good place to purchase would be.. I can do the transmission swap myself, looking for a straight bolt in option..
I've heard of people getting the rebuilt TR3650's.. but not so sure I want to go back with the same transmission..
Thanks for any input!

Do the transmission install and see how you like the gears. You're not really saving any time by doing both at once, so the cost of doing now vs maybe doing it later should be equal.
The TR6060 will have a taller 1st gear, so it won't be as aggressive, but with 500whp you can only be so aggressive before you aren't going anywhere again. By second gear you're at almost the same ratio as with the 3650.
